Return & Exchange Policy

We will gladly accept your unworn/unwashed items within 14 days of the delivery date, in case you need to exchange or return them. Refunds, however, are not issued — we only offer a store credit that you can use for a new purchase.

Please note that pieces that are soiled, worn, damaged or laundered will not be accepted. It is at The Salt Side's discretion to determine if the returned suit has been soiled. If a suit is determined to be soiled, orders will not be accepted for a return or merchandise credit. For hygiene and safety reasons, soiled items cannot be returned to the customer and will be responsibly disposed of.

Exchanges & Store Credit 

We do not process direct exchanges for non-defective items. Instead, we offer store credit in place of a cash refund. This allows you to make a new purchase in the style, color, or size you prefer.

Items purchased during sales, promotional periods, or sitewide discounts are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

Please note:

• Store credit will be issued for the amount paid at the time of purchase, excluding shipping fees.
• Store credit expires 12 months from the date of issuance and may be used toward future purchases on our website
• If, at the time of the new purchase, the item is no longer on sale, the customer is responsible for paying the price difference.

Cash Refunds (when applicable)

In compliance with California consumer protection laws, cash refunds will be fully offered in the following situations:

1. The product is defective or damaged
2. The item was not received
3. The product is no longer available due to an inventory error

How to start a Exchange

 To start your exchange, email us at hello@thesaltside.com and we will guide you through the process. Please note:

• Exchanges must be initiated and postmarked within 14 days of your order’s delivery date. After 14 days, exchanges will not be accepted.
• Customers are responsible for shipping costs and any price differences on exchanged items.
• If approved, your return must be shipped back within 7 days of acceptance.
• Items must be in original condition: packed within the cotton bag, tags attached, free of deodorant, makeup, or other marks. 
• Worn, washed, stained, snagged, or damaged pieces won't be accepted.
• Sale items are not eligible for return or exchanges.

The Salt Side is not liable for the loss or damage of packages in return transit. Please be sure to obtain a tracking number with your return to ensure proof of delivery.

Wrong address

If an order return to us because the customer gave us the wrong address during the purchase, we'll refund the purchase if and when the package return to us. A $6 processing fee will be deducted from the refund. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

International Orders

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or exchanges for international orders at this time. The Salt Side is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
